Legendo Games is looking for remote C++ Software Engineers with console game development backgrounds to port a custom 3D engine from PlayStation to PC and Xbox. You will work on an unannounced project with a friendly, flexible, and compact team of “can do” game developers.

Expectations

  • You have no problem finding your way around proprietary 3D engines and related tools and plugins. Every issue is another opportunity to improve existing code!
  • Enthusiastic about current/next-gen consoles and eager to learn more through hands-on experience.
  • Knowledge of multi-threaded engine architecture.
  • Practical knowledge of C++. You are ready to analyze/improve performance as necessary, and also debug and fix errors as they happen.
  • You are timely, structured, and self-motivated.
  • Fluent English.
  • Others consider you a person of integrity capable of keeping information and project details confidential.

Pluses

  • You have worked on a commercial, shipped console or a PC game for which you contributed to custom engines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • You are proficient in trigonometry and linear algebra.

Scope

  • The scheduled development cycle is 12-14 months.

Location

  • Remote (Sweden.)
